Welcome to BeautyResume (美历) (the “Platform” or “we”), which provides online resume creation and related tools. Before you register, sign in, or use the Platform, please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”). By clicking agree, completing registration, or using the services, you confirm that you understand and accept these Terms in full.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the BeautyResume operator regarding use of the Platform. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Services

BeautyResume is an online resume editor and layout tool. Features may include editing resume content, choosing templates, real-time or near-real-time preview, exporting to PDF/Word (as actually provided), resume list management, and browsing career-oriented articles. Specific features are as shown on the Platform from time to time.

We only provide tools and information display. We are not involved in employer recruiting, interviews, background checks, or offline job matching. You are responsible for resume content and how you apply to employers.

2. Accounts

2.1 Registration

You may need to provide username, email, and password to register. For compliance and security we may require CAPTCHA or email codes. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

2.2 Account security

Your account is for your use only. Protect your password and verification factors. You are responsible for activity under your account (including authorized use). If you suspect compromise, notify us and change credentials promptly.

2.3 Third-party sign-in

If we offer WeChat or other third-party sign-in, we obtain limited public profile data as authorized by you for binding and convenience. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to comply with applicable laws and public order. You must not, including but not limited to:

  • Upload or spread illegal, obscene, defamatory, hateful, violent, or rights-infringing content;
  • Infringe others’ IP, trade secrets, portrait rights, privacy, or other rights;
  • Reverse engineer, crawl beyond reasonable search indexing, attack, disrupt, or damage the Platform;
  • Use the Platform for fraud, pyramid schemes, illegal fundraising, or other crimes;
  • Collect or use other users’ personal information without authorization;
  • Engage in other conduct we reasonably deem inappropriate.

We may warn, restrict features, suspend or terminate service, or block accounts, and cooperate with authorities as required by law.

4. Your content and our IP

Resume text you enter (name, experience, project descriptions, etc.) belongs to you or the rightful owner, and you warrant you have rights to use it.

Templates, sample copy, UI, and software belong to us or licensors. Without permission, you may not copy, distribute, sell template sources, or build competing services.

To provide storage, preview, export, and necessary sync, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, store, and process your uploads only as needed to deliver the service. The license ends when you delete content or the service ends, except where law requires retention.

5. Sharing and public links

If you use share or public link features, understand that others may access the link—avoid placing ID numbers, bank details, or non-public contact data in publicly shared content. Risk from voluntary sharing is yours.

6. Changes, interruption, and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts or all of the service for business, maintenance, force majeure, or similar reasons, and will try to notify you via notices or on-page prompts. Liability for reasonable necessary changes is limited as permitted by law.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may terminate service if you materially breach these Terms. After termination, we handle personal information per the Privacy Policy except where law or agreement provides otherwise.

7. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We will assist reasonably with issues caused by networks, devices, or third parties but are not liable for indirect, incidental, or punitive damages except where mandatory law says otherwise.

8. Changes to the Terms

We may revise these Terms and will publish updates prominently on the Platform. Continued use after updates means you accept the new Terms; if you disagree, stop using the Platform.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China (without regard to conflict-of-law rules). Disputes should be resolved through negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may bring suit in the people’s court with jurisdiction where the Platform operator is located.

10. Miscellaneous

If any provision is held invalid, the remainder stays effective. For personal information processing, if these Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy prevails.
