1. How we collect and use personal information

We follow lawful, legitimate, necessary, and good-faith principles and process personal information for the purposes below.

1.1 Account registration, sign-in, and security

To create an account, verify identity, and keep accounts secure, we may collect: username, email address, login password (stored in encrypted form), CAPTCHA, email verification codes, sign-in timestamps, and device information. If you use third-party sign-in (e.g., WeChat), with your authorization we may obtain nickname, avatar, and other public profile information from that account for binding and display.

If you refuse to provide information necessary for registration or sign-in, you may be unable to use the corresponding features, but you may still browse certain public pages where applicable.

1.2 Resume editing, storage, and export

When you use the resume editor, we process resume content and module fields you actively provide (such as education, work experience, projects, skills, and contact details) to enable saving, preview, multi-device sync, export to PDF/Word (as actually offered), and display in “My resumes.”

Please do not include sensitive personal information unrelated to job seeking (such as detailed religious belief or unrelated health information) and be cautious with fields shown to others.

1.3 Sharing and public access

If you generate a share link or public access link, we process the link identifier and related resume version data as needed to display content to visitors. Public links may be forwarded—avoid disclosing sensitive information through them.

1.4 Templates, assets, and preview

To render templates and previews, we process layout-related data. If you upload an avatar or attachment images, we store those files for display and export, limited to what is needed for the feature.

1.5 Career articles and browsing

When you browse career guides or similar sections, we may record access time, article identifiers, and coarse interaction statistics to improve recommendations and the product experience (including anonymized or aggregated statistics where lawful).

1.6 Operations and security

To keep services stable and guard against fraud or attacks, we may automatically collect: IP address, browser type, operating system, access paths, crash logs, and performance data. Where required by law or in emergencies, we may provide necessary information to competent authorities.
